How does it work?

Microneedling is primarily known as an anti-aging and skincare procedure. However, it is also used as a treatment for hair loss. With the same process used for skincare, we create micro-injuries in the scalp with tiny micro-needles to regenerate the health of the hair follicles. As a result, pre-existing hair follicles and stem cells are strengthened and new hair growth is stimulated. During the procedure, a hair growth serum is used to penetrate and absorb into the scalp.

The Serum

Ingredients: Aqua, Urtica Dioica (Nettle) Leaf Extract, Aesculus Hippocastanum (Horse Chestnut) Seed Extract, Panthenol, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Creatine, Sodium Hyaluronate.

Hyaluronic acid: Restores hair density and increases volume. It promotes firmness and elasticity to the scalp.

Panthenol: Penetrates into the skin easily, nourishes the scalp and promotes hair growth. By stimulating the division of the epidermis cells, panthenol helps speed up the process of skin and hair regeneration, provides scalp hydration and has a soothing and anti-inflammatory effect.

Nettle extract: Due to high amounts of scopoletine (a compound that stimulates enzymes which control sebum secretion and prevents excessive hair oiling) Nettle speeds up circulation and blood circulation of the scalp, thus speeding up metabolic processes within the epidermis.

Chestnut extract: Contains saponins, tannins, proteins and vitamins B1, C and K and provitamin A. It nourishes the skin, helps maintain the health of the follicles, therefore reducing and preventing hair loss. It soothes and balances dry or excessively oily scalp.

Creatine: An amino acid naturally found in the skin and hair. It strengthens the hair, provides it with volume and a healthy appearance. It prevents hair damage caused by chemical treatments, revitalizes the scalp and prevents hair loss.

When will I see results?

Results are typically noticed in about 6 weeks depending on the severity of your hair loss. Usually 3-6 treatments are needed for the best results and maintenance is recommended.

What is the healing time?

Immediately after the procedure, you will experience some swelling, redness and minor pain. Theres a possibility that bruising may occur to the treated area but will subside within a couple of days.
